The reason for that is because the romance of the series works really well. Al for example was pretty unlikable for most of the series.ĭid i say the love triangle was the best part about the series? I was actually lying because the art was the best part of the series. Some of them were actually really good namely Miyabi and the librarian chick. The side characters however did fall short somewhat. His growth throughout the series was really fun to watch. These 3 characters are easily what carries Specifically Natsuo. I loved seeing all the emotion between these characters fall into place. The love triangle between Natsuo and Rui and hina is the best part about the series. Now he has to deal with both of these under one roof. Lo and behold the younger sister is the girl he slept with and the older sister is his teacher that he's in love with. Now the story actually starts when his dad actually marries another women giving Natsuo 2 step-sisters. So Hina is constantly pestering him for another chapter of his book while Natsuo gets flustered and slowly but surely gained feelings for her. Natsuo (MC) gains feeling for her as she figures out that he wants to write a story. This girl in question being his teacher, Hina. Something he then sort of regrets because he already had feelings for someone else. To say this manga was shrouded in controversy since its inception would probably be only the tip of the iceberg.ĭomestic Girlfriend is a series about a character who loses his virginity to some random chick named Rui. I’m just not gonna read any more of the author’s future works. Anything can truly happen if you want it to in the fiction world, of course. This review would be too long if I did that.
I’m not even gonna go too much in detail. I’ve debated with people about it just to get an understanding of it and although Hina is a good-hearted person, I still don’t support unhealthy desires for love and getting depressed over a teenage boy you were in a 3 month relationship with. It really opened my eyes and made me think of Hina and Natsuo, except both are stupid til the very end and you’ll see why.

Watch the American TV miniseries A Teacher. Teens have a lack of good judgement at that age. Natsuo was a 17 year old when they started it all. What does a predator and Hina have in common? They had sexual relations with a child with no or very little previous experience and knew the consequences of their actions but still went through with it. You’ll probably see them all on the subreddit, twitter, or discord. Those who actually are satisfied and loved the ending of the manga are just simps in love with Hina. Expect a Disney-inspired kiss near the end. I find it very disgusting that the author really did that. Lol I was actually looking forward to seeing Natsuo and Rui to grow up + mature together only to be disappointed. If you don’t like adult and teenager love or incest or unhealthy relationships, this isn’t for you.
